I’m trying to track down the winter/battery conditioning mode on my GV60.I’ve heard it’s a lifesaver in cold weather but I’m coming up empty both in the car and the app. Anyone know if this mode even exists for the GV60? And if so, is this tip legit for keeping the battery in top shape?

Hello @GRAYHORSE69!

That is a good question.

Winter/battery conditioning mode can be crucial for extending life in colder climates.

From what I know, the GV60 should have some form of battery conditioning, but it might be called exactly that in the app or system.

Have you tried checking under the climate control or energy settings?

Sometimes it is hidden under different menus. I hope you can find it soon. Cold weather can be tough on EV batteries.

Try looking under the "Energy" or "Vehicle" settings in your app or car menu. Some users reported the option only appears if the outside temperature drops below a certain point. You could also check with your dealer to see if any software updates are needed.

Poke around in both the climate control settings and the pre-conditioning options in the app. Also, have you tried checking the owner's manual or contacting Genesis support? They could point you in the right direction. Good luck!

You won't find anything if you don't update both the app and the car's software...
