Are these vibrations normal on my 2022 G70?

Hi, I am new here so forgive me if I got the section mixed up.
So after trading my 2022 G70 for an eGV70, I noticed vibrations at highway speeds, similar to my previous car. Following a tire rotation and balance, the steering wheel started shimmying at about 40 mph. I took it to a Genesis dealer in Arizona, but the mechanic insisted nothing was off in the car despite explaining the vibrations...The dealership is checking the alignment, but I’m now considering Hankook tires if the issue persists, as I have heard other found success with them.

Maybe the problem is with the tires. But first, try going to another tire center to have it aligned. There's a possibility that there might be a tire software problem with the Genesis

Vibrations after a tire rotation often come down to balance or alignment issues. If the dealer doesn’t find anything, you might want to take it to a tire shop for a second opinion, they sometimes catch things dealers miss. Switching to Hankook tires could be a good move too, they’re known for smoother rides and good grip.

Sounds like a headache! Vibrations can be tricky, especially when the dealer isn’t able to pinpoint the cause. Hopefully, the alignment check helps, but if not, switching to Hankook tires could be a solid option since others have had good luck with them.. Keep us posted on how it goes!

I’m considering a second alignment check. I’ve also heard about potential tire software issues.

Yeah, Hankook tires seem like the best option rn

I’m hopeful the alignment check will help, but if not, Hankook tires it is. I’ll keep you updated.
