Confused About Dealer Recommendations for Genesis EV Maintenance

Just got back from my 20k-mile maintenance, and the dealer hit me with some extra service recommendations that left me scratching my head. They suggested a throttle body cleaning for $399 and a fuel induction service for $475, totaling around $1,100. These aren’t covered by the complimentary 3-year service plan, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting to hear about carbon buildup or fuel economy services on an EV.

I get that some maintenance is always going to pop up, but are these services even relevant for an electric vehicle? From what I understand, EVs don’t have the same combustion issues as gas-powered cars. I’m all for keeping my car in good shape, but this feels more like a leftover upsell from gas engine days. Are these services actually needed for EVs, or is this just a sales pitch I should ignore?
