I've been having a bit of a weird issue with my G70's sound system. The subs under the seat just seem so quiet. It's like most of the bass is coming from the doors and dash speakers. I even tried putting my ear to the bottom of the seat and there's definitely sound coming out, but it's pretty faint.

I remember reading somewhere about resetting the car's computer to fix sound issues. It was mentioned that turning on the Audience surround setting disables the subs for some reason. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm using Android Auto and have the bass set to +3 on the tone settings, but I still have to crank it up to around 50-55 to get decent volume.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I dive into messing with all my settings again.

Have you tried messing around with the Reference mode? It might give those subs a serious boost in bass! Give it a shot and see if it gives your setup that extra oomph!

that sounds like a settings issue might be the problem. I’d try turning off the Audience surround setting first to see if that makes a difference, it’s a quick fix if it works. Also, check the balance and fader settings to make sure the subs aren’t getting ‘drowned out’ by the other speakers. If all else fails, a system reset might do the trick.

I boosted the treble and bass, but the under-seat subs aren't that strong. I was listening to some older tracks, so maybe that's part of it.
