Genesis App won't let me in!

I just picked up my new GV60 and I'm trying to set up the Genesis app. I got past the serial number part, but then I get this stupid error code C500 when I try to register. Is thi a common problem? I'm about to lose my mind trying to figure this out!

My SA literally set up the Genesis app for me when he handed me the car, so I’m honestly a bit confused why you’re doing it yourself.

Seriously, I've cleared the app cache and reinstalled it, but I'm still getting this stupid error. What else can I do? Should we keep on complaining so that Genesis will do something about this?
