So I’m kinda stuck with this air recirculation button on my GV70. It keeps shutting off on me after a few minutes, even though I’ve turned off auto dehumidify and smart ventilation. Any chance you’ve got a trick to keep it on, even when the climate control is off? Totally scratching my head over here!

Why would you keep your air recirculation mode on for an extended period? Most cars don't do it for too long because it can lead to increased CO2 levels, and that's not great for everyone inside. Plus, letting in some fresh air helps keep smoke and other stuff from getting trapped in your ride.

Leave the climate on and just close the vent blowing on you. I think when the climate is off, it just opens a path with natural circulation. Think how cars were before AC was readily available.

Yeah it is that annoying. Most cars do this to prevent the air getting stale or to manage humidity levels, but it’s frustrating when you want it to stay on. If turning off auto dehumidify and smart ventilation didn’t work, you might need a software update from the dealer. Otherwise, you could try setting the climate to manual mode and see if that makes any difference.

That's normal. The purpose is to keep cabin air quality by introducing fresh air and preventing issues like window fogging and stale air.

Hey, that warm air is coming from the area near the windshield. Even when you turn off the climate control, it still uses the heater to reach the last temperature setting. To stop it, try setting the temp to the lowest setting before turning it off. That should stop the warm air.

Hey, I’m no expert, but it sounds like a tricky setting! The GV70 might turn off air recirculation automatically to prevent fogging, even with smart ventilation and dehumidify off. Try turning off climate control and manually setting recirculation without auto. If it still shuts off, there may be a deeper system setting and checking the manual or dealer might help!

Ah, the air recirculation! It usually resets with climate control, so check if "ECO" mode is causing trouble. If that doesn’t do it, the dealer might have the secret to keeping it on. Hopefully, it’s a quick fix
