ICCU problem or just me?

Anyone else had a terrifying ordeal with their Genesis GV60? I was cruising along, minding my own business, when POP - my car basically gave up on me. Battery warning, turtle mode, and eventually a complete shutdown on the highway. Turns out it was the ICCU. No official recall notice, and the nearest Genesis dealer felt like a million miles away. Has anyone else experienced this?
 
My GV60 was on the recall list, so I immediately took it to my dealer. They said it would take a week to get the ICCU and install it. They provided a loaner car. When I returned, everything went back to normal, and they also performed a software update. Thankfully it went smoothly.
 
At least everything is ok now. It can be frustrating when there is no official recall notice when these issues appear. Do you think there are more like us who had similar experiences without any communication from Genesis?
Did you notice any other issues before the ICCU problem, or was it just that sudden shutdown?

I don't know what is more concerning... the sudden shutdown or the fact many dealt with similar issues without any heads-up from the company...
 
Genesis needs to expand its dealer network. Customers find it inconvenient when there aren't enough repair facilities.
