Interior Alarm going off with dog in the car

I've got a bit of a problem. My wife took our senior dog to work today, and the car's interior alarm keeps going off. I tried to disable it, but I can't figure out how.

Does anyone know if there's a way to turn this off? I'm worried about the dog getting stressed out. Thanks!

Alright, go to the Set Up menu, find Vehicle, and in the Convenience section, turn off the Advanced Anti-Theft feature. Just a heads-up: you might need to switch this off every time you open a door, not just when you park, coz it likes to turn itself back on otherwise.

On some cars, all you have to do is press the lock button twice quickly on the fob. But why keep things easy when you can overcomplicate them?
