Struggling with Android Auto

So I’m having a bit of a struggle getting Android Auto to play nice with my GV60 and my OnePlus 10 Pro. I’ve already messed around with different cables and rebooted my phone, but no luck. Is this a common headache, or am I just destined to keep trying cables until one finally clicks? Any pro tips or advice on getting this thing up and running would be awesome! Thanks!

No problems connecting my S21 Ultra through an adapter. I guess you need a Samsung then lol.
