Weather-on-the-Way CarPlay App - Worth a Try?

Just stumbled upon this awesome new CarPlay app called Weather-on-the-Way. It’s a game-changer because it mixes navigation with weather updates, so you’ll know what the weather’s gonna be like along your route. Super handy if you’re driving through areas with crazy weather. Anyone else given this app a spin?

It sounds interesting! How does the app work exactly? Does it give alerts for severe weather along your route? I would like to know more about its accuracy before installing the app. I don't like to install apps and try them. Every time I ask for reviews about them.
