Why’s SiriusXM So Tricky with CarPlay?

Just got my new 2024 GV70, and I’m kinda struggling with SiriusXM and Apple CarPlay.

Why do I even have to open the SiriusXM app on my phone first to be able to use it on Carplay screen? Like, come on! So annoying!

Is there a way to just hit the SiriusXM button on the screen and still use CarPlay? A split-screen would be sick!

Need some tips, please. thank you.

Congrats on the new whip, but man you usually need to open the SiriusXM app on your phone first for it to work with CarPlay. A split-screen feature would be great, but it’s not available.

Yeah! It’s like an unnecessary extra step that nobody asked for, right?!

Why do we even have to deal with this? Is there a shortcut or something to make SiriusXM play nice with CarPlay without all the hassle?
